Arin Octav Stanescu is the main partner in SMD&A. With a wide experience of over 30 years of activity as a lawyer, he gained the reputation of an exceptional specialist especially in the insolvency domain and being not only the president of the National Union of the Insolvency Experts, but also the president of the National Union of Liberal Professions.

His implication in this domain has overtaken the practice experience area, as an active participant to the elaboration of some important legislative projects, the most recent one being the preventive concordation project, as a way to save traders from bankruptcy.

Known as a constant presence to a large number of conferences and congresses organized by important financial institutions, Mr. Arin Stanescu has strengthened a high position in the public-private partnership domain. He is also known as a consultant for some well-known companies, offering consultancy for major investments in real-estate domain, too.

Mr. Arin Stanescu speaks fluently Romanian, English, French, German, Italian and Hebraic language and he is an important member in the National Bars Union Council, UNPIR and in the Administrative Council of INSOL Europe.
